PRESIDING BABU is the story of a brave government officer who discharged his duties in election in challenging conditions as a presiding officer at a poll booth and faced severe problems. This is indeed an attempt to look at the other side of the democracy as how the lives of people are risked in the name of democracy. Dr. Ranjit Singh is a well-known figure in the field of Commerce and Management education. After authoring several books like ‘Business Environment’, ‘Indian Financial System’, ‘Financial Statement Analysis’, ‘Great Financial Crises of the World’ and many more research papers in the area of Management especially Financial Management, ‘Presiding Babu’ is his first fiction writing.
