Born on 29 August 1955 in Village Jauhardeeh, near district headquarter Ambedkar Nagar – Uttar Pradesh, Abhay Kumar Tripathi is a lawyer by profession and was elected as the President of the Bar Association. His father Lakshman Prasad Tripathi was a government officer in Public Administration. Gopal Babu has always been inclined towards reading and writing since childhood and has also participated in many Kavi Sammelan. His simplicity and fluidity in writing inspire him to challenge prejudices prevalent in society and lead the reader towards a more empathetic view of life.
