I came of a “Rai-Sahib” family, my grandfather was a renowned Hospital Doctor and for his achievement, he was conferred with the ” Rai-Sahib “title by the Governor-General of India on 1st January year 1913. I was Matriculated with National Scholarship and all through my academic career, I stood second to none till graduation with honors in English Literature, but I was victimized by circumstances. Father died of heart-stroke; he was survived by a widow, four sons, and four daughters. I was then hardly sixteen years and the responsibilities fell upon me. I accepted the responsibilities and gradually within six years I got married to my sisters. I, in the meantime, graduated in law in the 1st Class. And even after working as a Govt. servant, I resigned and joined the Bar, and dei gratia I came out successful. My literary instinct, though latent, rejuvenated during the LockDown period, I started writing stories with the materials coined from my real life mostly as a practicing lawyer. My effort culminated in the creation of the stories presented to you. I finish with a request to encourage me so as to enable me to offer more beautiful stories shortly hereafter.
