Debashis Bhattacharya is in the Intensive Care Unit and facing imminent death due to acute dyspnea. The team of doctors gives up hope as there is nothing more they can do for him. This is being informed by his family. At the point of death, Debashis is visited by an unknown saint from the Himalayan Mountains who is visible only to Debashis. In a divine voice, the saint tells him: “You will recover soon and your writings will be made into movies.” Healed and heeding the dictates of that saint, having no solid academic background, at the age of 50, Debashis starts writing. A significant fact is that he has never even read a single novel to date.
