Dr. Kavita Sindhav is an Assistant Professor and Senate Member in the Faculty of Social Work, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Her areas of interest are gender equality, women issues, microfinance, and research in the field of Social Work. She has completed two major research projects as a co-investigator supported by UNICEF. The author has completed her Doctorate degree in Social Work discipline in the area of Microfinance. She is actively associated with the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The author has more than 15 years of experience in academics, banking, research, and development.
