Dr. Madan Singh, M.S.W., Ph.D., Former Director, State Resource Centre, Uttar Pradesh – Literacy House, Lucknow and currently Registrar, International Institute of Adult and Lifelong Education, New Delhi is a well-known academic. He has been serving in the field of adult education and lifelong learning for the past 55 years. He has studied adult education and lifelong learning systems in Ten foreign countries – Thailand, U.K., Indonesia, Singapore, Nepal, France, Portugal, Brazil, Japan, and China. Having devoted his entire career to the service of adult education and lifelong learning, he has eighteen publications to his credit (Eight in English and Ten in Hindi).
