Harsini Venkatachalam is a biotechnologist, a researcher in bioplastics who has published journal articles and is pursing her research in environmental science with a pursuit to find an alternative to make this world a better place with exceptional sustainability. She has been constantly studying bioplastics, its characterization and properties looking forward for the best substitute for plastics. Her constant interest led her to write this book.

Dr. Radha Palaniswamy, assistant professor in biotechnology working in the field of environmental sciences has a passion for writing who has more than 50 publications both national and international with books and book chapters. She has guided many research students and delivered several lectures, presented research papers at conferences, worked for DST WoS project also. Her teaching and research experience has molded her to express her thoughts in the form of this book.

Dr. Mangesh VL, associate professor is a researcher in marine engineering, working currently with bioplastics and biofuels has several publications in high indexed journals and has delivered several lectures on the same at various institutions He has a great exposure to both national and international research scenarios . He is also a reviewer in scopus indexed journals. He is both an academician and researcher with a passion for innovations and technology with importance to green chemistry.
