Waseem Ahmad Dar is a Junior Research Fellow of the Indian Council of Historical Research New Delhi. He did his M.Phil from the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda and PhD from the Faculty of Humanities and Languages, Department of History and Culture, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. The prime field of the author’s research is The modern history of Jammu and Kashmir. Currently, he is engaged as Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the Department of History, Cluster University Srinagar.
