Harchintan kaur is a 12-year-old budding writer. A student of class eight, she studies in a boarding school. The author likes to write a lot, and is a fabulous storyteller. The Mysterious Adventure is her first creation. It took Harchintan about five to six months to put her ideas on paper. She was keen to build her story around characters from everyday life, very common people with special powers. Apart from this book, she has sent a short story titled ‘My Beautiful Dream’ to the famous author, Ruskin Bond.
