The author did her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature from University of Delhi. She is ideologically inclined towards feminism and the cause of gender equality is very dear to her. At the age of twenty-two, she has penned down her debut book titled “Indian Feminine Fury” which consists of feminist analysis of various themes such as politics, religion, films and literature in the Indian context. She has a special interest in women’s writing and has a plan to pursue her further studies in English literature and make a career in academics. She has been an active award winner in debating competitions during her college years and has contributed articles on politics for Qrius (formerly ‘The Indian Economist’), a digital magazine. She hopes to add value to the discourse about feminism and mental health through various kinds of writing in future.
