Munazza Arif is a science graduate from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow. She resides in Kanpur with her family and identifies herself as a ferocious reader. She has travelled a lot and has a never-ending curiosity for places, people and cultures, which has enriched her thinking. She compares her life with the tradition of Mongolian pot full of boiling water and spices placed on a charcoal brazier at the centre of a dinner table. Every diner gets to choose their favourite ingredients and dip them together until it is cooked. Leaving a soup behind that has a unique flavour of its own, a blend of every diner’s idea of good taste. And, believes her poems and stories are that flavourful soup full of each person’s varied experience touching her life.
