Paulomi Roy was born in the district of Howrah (West Bengal) on the 8th of January. After her schooling, she studied B.Tech in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology. Later, she pursued her higher studies for M.Tech in Biotechnology from MNNIT Allahabad. She chooses to study plants and lives because of her immense love for nature. Whether she works with plants in the research field or she writes about them in her diary, she always finds herself close to nature. Nature teaches her love and inspires her every time. In her childhood days, she used to compose small poems and got those published in her school magazines. Writing has always been her passion and her way of searching peace and happiness. Her other hobbies include painting, dancing, and reading novels. Currently, she is living in Kolkata with her parents.
