The author Dr. Roshmi Roy is a gold medallist from La Martinie‛re for Girls. She did her doctorate in English from the University of Calcutta in 2004, and has taught English in various schools and colleges, and Business Communication in Management Institutes. She is now the Director of Aptitudes and Skills training, which imparts training in Soft Skills and Personality Development. Her published works include Sisterhood of Women, based on her study of feminine consciousness; the motivational book, Climbing the Beanstalk: It’s up to You to Reach the Top; and the collection of short stories, Tales She Can Tell.
