Shailesh Manerkar reached his peak moment in life when he started working as a production manager in the chemical industry. Although he worked in the chemical industry, he adored literature. In his 50s he started writing poems on a piece of paper just as a part of finding his new passion. But as his daughter introduced him to social media (Twitter) he started using this medium as a source of expressing what he feels about the current affair with a pinch of humor to it. Although his heart belongs to Mumbai, as he was born in Goa, his soul belongs to goa. And that’s the reason he is the best amalgamation of city and village lifestyle which reflects in his poems.
