Subhagata Goswami is an author based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Before being an author, she has always been passionate about writing and tried her own hand in prose and poetry by posting on social media. She first started by penning down her thoughts in her blog on Word Press under the same name as the book. This is her first book, ‘Pyre of a Phoenix’ – a self-help book that is a reflection of her own life experiences, albeit written in a poetic and imaginative fashion. The book is aimed at helping others during times of emotional distress and self-reflection, by personifying and accepting common emotions like pain, sorrow and grief. Subhagata currently works as an academic writer and is an ardent lover of dogs.
