Syed Abdul Haseeb was born in 1953 in Barabanki, a district adjacent to the capital of Lucknow in UP. He did his MA in Economics and has been writing in local journals and participating in Kavi sammelans and Mushairas in and around Lucknow. A prolific writer in both Hindi and Urdu languages, he believes in “Hindustani” culture- Ganga/Jamuna tehzeeb and is a renowned name in Lucknow poetic circles. He has won lots of accolades and awards in various local events organized by the Income Tax & Central Excise department where he worked during his active service life. Having settled his 3 kids, he now continues to chase his passion for writing in an easy-to-understand language. He is settled in Lucknow with his wife.
