My name is Urmila Deven, “writing” is my passion along with professional life and social involvement. My writing focus areas revolving around women empowerment, kids’ issues and revealing the other side of traditional practices to the readers, through my books, articles, poems, blogs, Facebook posts and YouTube videos. “Kashypi कश्यपी” is my third book and first historical fiction after “Premat tuzya mazya – प्रेमात तुझ्या माझ्या” and “Bochnare Kate – बोचणारे काटे. Basically, I’m an IT engineer working in the IT industry for more than 15 years after my M.Tech in VLSI, also a co-founder of a startup company in my professional journey. In the social front, I am a co-founder to an NGO – DASU Educational Society, aiming to serve the needy via various projects majorly sponsored by my family including a school in the Naxalite area – Gadchiroli, MH, India.
