“ATMA KA SANGEET literally means the ‘Song of the soul’. Poems express and portray all those emotions we experience in our lives. In the roller coaster of life we experience pain, and our desires remain unrequited. Some times you feel like you are worthless, lonely and miserable. The poems are an effort to ventilate the sorrow of self acting like a balm on private miseries. Some of the poems express nostalgia for village and depict feeling of patriotism for motherland. “

“Complete silence prevailed inside the ward, but it was a silence of a different kind… Aarti remained unmoved. But actually, she desired to be loquacious, speak a lot with her father-in-law.”

The Storm in the Silence is a gripping story of Aarti, a young married woman, ambitious for a career and caught up in a relentless wrestle with egotistical and patriarchal structures of power in the domestic and professional space. Sketched in the backdrop of a nexus between college admission scams, land deals and institutions of law and order, Aarti’s narrative keeps the readers on the edge as she is drawn into conspiracies that send her hurtling down a web of lies and deceits. She inspires as she works around her dilemmas and predicaments, shooting arrows in the dark to break the glass ceiling. Aarti is both characteristically real and deeply symbolic as she dares to uncover storms embodied in forced silences.

A Country is a Paradise when it is under a good Leadership; Paradise could become hellish when there is no governance”.
“Democracy is pretentious, unless we emancipate from the political system, it will disparage the concept of democracy”.“Politics and Democracy are two different ideologies. They are inseparably mixed; a suitable mechanism or a solvent is needed to elute this mixture for the good of this Country. Perhaps this The New Constitution of India 2018, may be a chromatography to eluting the mixture.” The Author says: ‘he has not done anything that infringes the fundamental rights of anyone, No derogation of fundamental rights, No inconsistency affecting the scope of Article 13(1) or Article 13(2) of the Constitution of India. Even assuming that some of them are, it is for the Government and the Courts to apply the Doctrine of Eclipse or on the Doctrine of Severability. Mechanical interpretation on this ‘New Constitution of India 2018’ might be atrophied or fossilised, but the organic might not !’. It is up to the Government to study, to find a way to implement without affecting the earlier judgements of High Court and Supreme Court on the Constitutional issues. Two main issues are involved:- 1) Whether the substance contained in this ‘The New Constitution of India 2018’ is derogative of fundamental rights within the meaning of Article 13(1) or under Article 13 (2)? 2) Whether the Parliament is having power to exercise its constitutional authority by way of addition, variation or repeal any provision as contemplated under Article 368 of the Constitution? ‘The New Constitution of India 2018’ helps a lame dog over the stile, to emancipate or unshackling the political system which disparaged the democracy in this country. The Author, 72 years of age, is with 43 years of experience as an Advocate. He is Senior Member in the Bar and Notary in Tamil Nadu. He is an Advocate on roll in the Supreme Court (OS) New Delhi. The Author has visited several foreign countries including England, USA, Scotland, France, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Paris. In 2012, the Author came to Bangalore with the intention of opening an additional office, but unfortunately, he was diagnosed for cancer and other problems and was to undergo 10 major operations one after the other till Feb 2018. He needs to be in Bangalore for few more months on the advice of doctors on health grounds.

All the Lost Souls is my first book and when we talk about a soul we open the mind to parallel universes of energies and emotions. Thus, the poems are not on any one theme or genre, every poem is unique and individual just like different people and their different experiences in the same life. These poems were written over the span of about 6 months at different stages and situations of life. Many are inspired by nature, human emotions, empathy, hurt, and creative imagination. I like to believe that whoever reads this book will find at least one poem they can completely relate to. And especially, this book is for those who feel so deeply but often lack the craft of expression. May it help the ones who need it.
