A Little Extra Love Might Help is a poetry book that captures the rawest part that lies beneath the layers of life—the bubbles of emotions that keep rising up and bursting inside ourselves while we go through different phases of life: a new love affair, heartbreaks, monsoon arrival, summer heats,
winter nights, the gain and the loss, the fall and the rise, late night drives with old songs, the simple pleasure of a good coffee with friends, our smiles, tears, dreams, and many more such experiences that we ignore in our everyday lives; but they keep accumulating beneath the layers and
remind us that life is nothing but just a cocktail of different such bubbles.

Is there anyone who hasn’t loved or lost a dear one or experienced both? Is there anyone who does not get flashes of memories from childhood every now and then, or just wonder at how the world one read about or saw as sci-fi is now leaping towards reality? Is there anyone who does not feel outraged by the lack of humaneness on display at times? Is there anyone who has not asked this question to themselves, “Where am I? What am I doing?”

Watch the Nib Dance is an anthology of poems traversing through a range of areas and emotions – nature, society, war, peace, gender issues, law, love, grief, finding oneself, and nostalgia. Poetry is much like dance – you can learn a thousand techniques but when you actually start dancing, it innately flows. That is what happens when you put pen to paper – whatever it is that has left an impression on your senses, soul or conscience, finds its way out. That is where the poetry in this book comes from.

It will resonate with some part of you – personal or professional, or just by virtue of being human – for words are powerful enough to stir what lies beneath.

“Could the great challenges of the world, and our lives, be solved through the wisdom of the past merged with the best science of today? The answer to this question is a resounding “Yes!” In Quantum Spirituality, Amit Goswami, PhD, and Valentina Onisor, MD, join forces to reveal precisely this connection and catapult us light years beyond conventional thinking when it comes to our capabilities, and our potential. In an intimate journey of easy-to-read science and true-life events, the authors demonstrate how the marriage of science and spirituality, and the cooperation of scientists and mystics, opens the door to a new world view. There’s something missing in the traditional human story. Only new thinking, based upon truthful, honest and factual discoveries that include direct human experience will reveal the potential of the new human story. Whether you’re an artist or an engineer, a homemaker or policy maker, this book is about you, your life, and every relationship that you’ll ever experience. This book should be required reading for everyone who has ever felt like there’s something missing in the mainstream view of us and what’s possible for us in the world.” — Gregg Braden, New York Times bestselling author of Human by Design and The Divine Matrix “Quantum Spirituality offers a brave attempt to unify the scientific and spiritual paths of existence. The authors point out that all too often we find ourselves in unhappy situations when we embark on one of the paths without considering the other—especially a problem in our separated scientific and current religious worldviews today. We need to take steps along both paths simultaneously—something that our quantum physics point of view explains how to do it.” —Fred Alan Wolf, PhD. (aka) Dr. Quantum, National Book Award Author of many books. Amit Goswami, PhD, featured in the widely seen “What the bleep do we know!?” and Valentina R. Onisor, MD, lauded for her Quantum healing and integration teachings, successfully demonstrate, using the latest paradigm of Quantum Science, that exploring the archetype of wholeness and integrating dichotomies are a quick and satisfactory path to spiritual enlightenment: quantum enlightenment. And Oh, yes: on this path you keep your authentic self to enjoy your enlightenment.

The journey from village towards the city…

In the village called Alona, which was located in the district of Banda of Uttar Pradesh. Chunkawan was born in an ordinary family. When he was only 2 months old, his dad passed away. His mother raised him. Chubkawan’s heart still longed for his father’s lap… His father was a teacher in a government school, God knows what his dreams were but if a teacher’s son couldn’t figure out what to do with his life, it would have been a big setback for him. Chunkawan’s memory is still fresh with his childhood days and maybe he would never forget them, especially those memories when he used to play with his friends and was lost in their friendship. As he grew up, he remembered those beatings and scolding that he received from his uncle, who loved him a lot, it still used to bring smile on his face… The government school in which his father was a teacher is just beside his house. He completed his 5 years of study in the same school and the other 3 years in a private school, in the same village. Somehow he completed his eight standard… then to complete his ninth standard, he went to school that was almost 5 kilometers away from his village, which was in a small town. He had developed the habit of self-belief and devotion towards study, ever since he heard his grandfather narrate about his father’s death. Even though the school was 5 kilometers away, he regularly went there. If he found someone going towards his school, he used to sit on their bicycle or motorcycle to reach there. Gradually he made friends in his new school, he started going to the school with his friends; but how long would the friends take him with them? When he used to start early for school then five kilometers

This book has been dedicated to my father late Shri Jhutha ram ji Balwada who had been an inspiration to us all in every walk of life. He was an ardent believer of facts of life and was a man of principles. I have brought down the truth which has been existing on the earth an the universe but very few admire its beauty, the chirping of birds, soft touch of wind and the hassles of life which passes on with time unaware of its slow moving end to the eternal abode. Human beings come and go but seldom peep into nature its true Devine recourse. This book has some untouched facts of reality which a person confronts with. It is an admirable theory of my mother Kitab Kaur who taught us the minute realms of life and to face the hardships altogether with my wife and kids, my siblings and family as a whole.

I am sure my readers will enjoy the real facts that I have tried to pen down in this book.

These days we often see two concepts floating — liberalism and nationalism. However, the term nationalist is equated with ‘fascism’. The book ‘Why I am a Nationalist’ reflects the difference between fascism and nationalism/patriotism. Nationalism/patriotism is one’s duty towards their native land irrespective of any political ideology. Welfare of my state and my people should be the foremost priority instead of one’s own necessity.

The book is based on the last address of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar to the Constituent Assembly on 25th November, 1949. Dr. Ambedkar expressed great concerns on the preservation of the Democracy enshrined in the Constitution. These concerns made the author take up writing. The country has been in turmoil for about the past 30 years with an uncertain future for the present and coming generations. The idea is to recapture Dr. Ambedkar’s message to the political parties governance and to people. The author has made an earnest effort to highlight the concerns of the father of the Constitution and his farsightedness to forewarn politicians and the people of the country about what would happen if self-interest takes the front seat and the interest of the country is pushed back.

In the midst of the prevailing chaos, the author, through this book, wishes to give A Wake Up Call to Every Indian, not from his own views, but from those who foresaw the emerging critical political environment in the country which is destroying the basic constitutional fiber as well as threatening the democratic development of the country. Our independence can only be sustained if there is a coherent call from political and religious leaders, who are ignoring their fundamental duties for their own self-aggrandizement. The need of the hour is to sprinkle and spread the perfume of harmony and oneness without ascribing any kind of scourge but upholding the God-given message of humanism as the sole consideration for development in every walk of life. A nation is built not merely on valor but through upholding the virtues of the ancestors and those who sacrificed their lives for freedom.

This book, written by Sanika Hegde, is a collection of 15 heart-touching and thought-provoking poems on various themes. The compositions are her honest expressions bloomed out of sweet and sour experiences of her own life. The poetry expresses her heart’s elation from a different point of view, with vivid descriptions. The uniqueness lies in her personification of themes like life, death, love, friendship, time, the universe, and her encounters with them to realize her connection with them. Her philosophy is to closely observe and understand the common themes in an uncommon way. For example, she accepts death, which is feared by all, as her close companion, with an unusual positive approach. The book is very promising, and is a fine piece of literary work.

Shaurya, a regular guy from IIT with a huge fascination towards technology and a heightened curiosity like no other, ready to achieve all his dreams met with a series of events that completely changed his life forever. He was never the one to live an ordinary life but to plot the assassination of the Prime Minister of India and a few other acts in his life meant a complete transformation. A scientific mind exploded by emotional harms led to such a mystery thriller story written by the author in such a way that blends all the flavors like love, drama, sci-fi or crime in a perfect way and leaves the reader in the two minds while justifying every turnaround the story has. If one thinks that a movie with a mystery genre is quite predictable by the trailer, then it is definitely a wrong prediction. Surely the PM is murdered, but is it Shaurya? What may be the motive of the killer? A criminal from IIT? Wait! Trailers can never be a spoiler. Happy reading!!!

The future was perhaps never so unpredictable in the history of mankind. Today, the world is on the
cusp of next industrial revolution where technology is changing every ‘nano’ second and is
supplementing (even supplanting) human intelligence. The things which were unheard of a few years
back have become common today. Artificial intelligence equipped devices, Internet of Things (IOT),
advanced robotics, driverless cars, hyper loop, nano technology, block chain, bit-coin, virtual reality, 3D
printing etc are going to revolutionize our lives. Within next 20-30 years (say by 2050), life will become
unrecognizably different from what it is today. This book is an attempt to present life changing
technologies and associated issues such as: 'Whether world will be ruled by machines in future?' 'Will
we lose our jobs to Artificial Intelligence/Robots?' 'What should we teach our kids to compete with
machines?' social dimensions of super longevity and designer babies, future of transportation demand
and so on. The book has been written in a simple non-technical language and has been targeted at
explorers with inquisitive minds who are interested in knowing the potential of technology. It leaves the
readers to marvel at what human mind can come up with.

Demographic dividend, as defined by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) means, “The economic growth potential that can result from shifts in a population’s age structure, mainly when the share of the working-age population (15 to 64) is larger than the non-working-age share of the population (14 and younger, and 65 and older).” In other words, it is a boost in economic productivity that occurs when there are growing numbers of people in the workforce relative to the number of dependents. UNFPA stated, “A country with both increasing numbers of young people and declining fertility has the potential to reap a demographic dividend.”

Due to the dividend between young and old, many argue that there is a great potential for economic gains, which has been termed the “demographic gift”. In order for economic growth to occur, the younger population must have access to quality education, adequate nutrition and health including access to sexual and reproductive health.

In near future India will be the largest individual contributor to the global demographic transition. A 2011 International Monetary Fund Working Paper found that substantial portion of the growth experienced by India since the 1980s is attributable to the country’s age structure and changing demographics. By 2026, India’s average age would be 29, which is least among the global average.
