The Scattered Leaves is Dr. Hussain’s fifth anthology of his rendering of Urdu stories into English. These stories are written by some of the finest and most well-known writers of the language today – including Shafi Mashhadi, Zakiya Mashhadi, Shomail Ahmed, Shaukat Hayat, Hussain-ul Haq, Abdus Samad, and Qasim Khursheed. The stories lead us into a world shaped by the inner and outer conflicts that have wrecked the provincial lives of people, but in doing so they reveal the larger social, moral, and political chaos that has devastated the lives of ordinary men and women in the Indian sub-continent. Ultimately, they testify to the depth of the human life and reflect upon its mysteries. These short stories masterfully lay bare the whole fabric of Indian society. They capture the dilemmas that the characters find themselves in, and a terrible sense of alienation – both within and without – that defines the existential crises they are going through. This anthology presents to the perceptive English reader a selection of stories comparable in excellence to short fiction written in any other language.

This book of Therapeutical Concepts in Yoga deals with Yogic Therapy, the principles on which they are based, and the scientific background of the same. The therapy can have real practical value, provided its principles are not mixed up with those of some other therapy. Even in some of the modern schools of Yoga, one finds a strong tendency and temptation to mix these up, either perhaps with an innocent view to obtain sanction or to add ‘elegance’ to demonstrations. Medical men, on the other hand, are prone to look upon the system as some form of special ‘exercises’ therapy. The Yogic therapeutical procedures do contain some exercises, but it is to be noted that the physiology of ordinary dynamic and violent exercises cannot be applied to them. Yogic therapy, however, does not consist of mere exercise; it is a composite treatment procedure which pays attention to all aspects of human personality. We, in our Health Centres, attempt to hit at a fair combination of both, and have found that such a procedure expedites results. Patanjali Yoga demands more or less an individual approach. With Hatha Yoga exercises, once the tensions are broken, it is easy to bring out the deep-seated repressions of patients and deal with them appropriately.

You might have come across at least one girl in school who immediately caught your eye because of how ‘odd’ she was. She was isolated from the others, didn’t talk much, and showed ‘twisted’, contrasting behaviour, sometimes. Almost everyone took immense pride in wounding her for no apparent reason. She was the ‘Class Freak’. You might have wondered what went on in her head, if she really was ‘complex’, if she really perceived the world ‘differently’ and, most importantly, why you, despite being the nicest person on planet Earth, couldn’t be ‘civ’ to her. This book attempts to answer some of the above-mentioned questions and gives you a chance to compare and contrast your views on life, love and society with hers.

This book is best for all classes of age to increase knowledge about wealth
or money because In today's changing environment, there has been a lot of
change in the mentality of the people, where there is worship of wealth only
and there is no respect of human being. People have become so
engrossed in their wealth that there are no emotions for human beings. The
person who has the money, people gives respect, while the poor who do
not have the money, they understand two cowry and keep making fun of
him every time. while money is just a resource Is in form which helps to
fulfill the requirements of everyday but money not only everything There is
such a place in the earth where people are living very happy, depending on
the nature without any money, such as in some African countries, tribal
society which is cut off from modern society, in the same way, the sentinel
island located in Andaman Nicobar island in India. In the Sentinel Island,
ancient tribal groups live for thousands of years, they probably do not even
know about the name of which bird of money but today is the period of
competition in modern human society where it went only remained
important as money has no value to Humans. so I would like to say every
people in this world is unique and you do not compared people with money
because a one day money does not come in use but a ordinary man come
with use in difficult situation. Money is important but human being is also an
importance. So to respect every person and do not comparison with
money. My whole phenomenon is in this book to realize live with joy and
happy all the people in this world.
