Bastar art, which is practiced by the tribals of Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, is one of the most renowned art forms. These tribal art forms reflect the cultural patterns and distinctive craftsmanship of these tribal people. This book highlights the religious beliefs, rituals and customs of these tribal people and how they have linked their religious beliefs to create and design products and it also glances at the incidents and myths related to some of these products, which are displayed during seasonal markets. It also covers the marketing strategy for selling these products, and the problems in the existing market, along with further scope for improvements have been highlighted in the book.
