Ranjeet Katiyar was born in village Tejapurwa of historic city Kannauj in uttar pradesh on 16 March 1987. After completing his primary education from school in nearby village, he completed his higher education in guidance of his elder brother who is teacher by profession. He joined central government job and being posted at many places during his period of job. The way of living and the problems of locals effects a lot to his writing. The words, which are very sweet and soft while doing poetry of love, suddenly became bitter and hard while writing about deprived and farmers.
