A stormy agony ! — is a story based on a life of woman. The novelist, Uma Pardeshi, has conveyed a very good message through this story. It reveals a real picture of the man who is responsible for ruining a life of a woman who becomes dangerous afterwards . In this story , a village head ( ‘Sarpanch’) pretending to be in love, lures a woman dancer from a colloquial local farcical drama( ‘ tamasha ‘). Hence, she submitted to him totally, in good faith. When she informed him about good news of her pregnancy, out of this relationship, he abused and pushed her blatantly , causing an abortion.
