Dr. Debasis Sahoo is an eminent personality in the field of Hospitality and Tourism having more than 17 years of Industry and Academic experience. He completed his Bachelor’s degree (B. Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration) from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Bhubaneswar in 2004. He was hired as a Chef by the Oberoi International Hotels Group in 2004 and later worked with Taj & ITC group of hotels. Subsequently, he completed his ‘Masters's & Ph. D’ in Tourism & Hospitality Management and is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala. He writes and presents widely on issues and prospects related to Indian Gastronomy, Culinary tourism, Religious gastronomy & tourist behaviour.
