He was born in a small village, Kanjarampettai, near Madurai City, Tamil Nadu, India. He hails from an agriculturist’s family. He did his graduation in Economics from The American College, Madurai for two years and completed at PSG College of Arts, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. While he was doing his degree he has been elected as the Secretary of the Student’s Union. M.A. Degree (Journalism and Mass Communication) from Kamaraj University, Madurai. After his college days, he became the President of Village Panchayat which consists of three hamlets. He had the privilege of presiding a public meeting in which Mr.Kamaraj, Ex-Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu addressed. And he did his law Degree in Govt. Law College, Bangalore. The Garden City of India. He got a diploma in Private Investigation from the National Institute of Private Investigation, New Delhi. Thereafter he got the opportunity of being the President of Victoria Edward Hall Society, Madurai. Now he is practicing law since 1972. But his primary occupation is agriculture.
