IndiSpice is author’s attempt at making a unique Indian cookbook. When looking at Indian cookbooks, there are countless ordinary recipes everyone has heard of. The author’s main goal with the book is to shine light on the many diverse regions of India and what they have to offer in terms of their cuisine. The book contains 18 vegetarian recipes from all six regions of India. She wanted the recipes to be accessible in the sense that anyone, regardless of their cooking caliber, could attempt and enjoy. Overall, she hopes you enjoy trying these recipes as much as she enjoyed creating them!
PratishthaVashishta has grown up around the world, spending years in Belgium, India, and Singapore. Pratishtha is like an average teenager, when she’s not cooking up a storm in the kitchen, she likes spending her time traveling, watching TV shows and swimming. She began cooking at the age of seven and has not stopped since! Her favorite cuisines include Italian, Mexican and of course, Indian. At 16 years old, this is Pratishtha’s first attempt at sharing her passion with the world in the form of a cookbook.
