Money and muscle power are threatening Indian democracy. It may become kleptocracy if the people do not understand the value of their freedom, if they can’t see through the chicanery of the politicians.

People of India should not be taken for a ride by cunning and corrupt elected leaders. If we fail to the elect right persons as our representatives and entrust the task of governance with them we have failed our duty as a member of a republic. In a country like India, politicians have a number of cunning schemes to keep the people divided; they use religion, caste, and language to create division among the people.

For corrupt politicians, money is not a problem.They are able to grab land, indulge in extortion and run any illegal business with the help of dishonest officials and criminals.Thus they make a mockery of democratic institutions, including elections. In this book, an attempt has been made to expose those political characters who have no quality and vision to become our leaders. Being informed citizens we must identify them and discard them through electoral power.
