"Harish Dharmshaktu was born in the lap of Himalayas. He did his post-graduation (Economics) from Kumaon University, Nainital. By profession, he was a banker and after his retirement, he was associated with ‘Teach India Programme’ of Times of India group. Through this programme, he taught English speaking to many children of poor people, which helped their employability. Harish Dharmshaktu has authored three books namely - ‘Dev-Bhoomi Where I Belong’, ‘Shubham Ki Shubh Yatra’ (Hindi) and ‘Uttarakhand Ke Sadharan Logo Ki Asadharan Kahaniya’ (Hindi) and this is his 4th book.He loves teaching poor children and social service for which he makes himself available most of the time."
