Moon and the Blue Waters is a poetry collection exploring the emotional journey of girls transforming into women. This book is about breaking free from fears and uniting with one’s intrepid and revolutionary heart. It has been divided into five parts. It reflects the feelings of alienation, loss, abuse, personal growth and healing. These poetries revolve around love, doubt, pain and suffering, and ignite the sense of self-empowerment and belief in oneself which surface deep in one’s soul.
Paarmita Vedi is a young poet residing in Allahabad. Currently, she is in her graduation year and studying English Literature along with Geography and Economics. Describing subtleties of human emotions through elements of nature is what she likes to present in her poems. Other than writing, she keeps a keen interest in reading, traveling and photography.
