Speaking From The Autumn Of My Life

This book contains poems that deal with various themes such as love, lust, the illusion of beauty, affection, trust, patriotism, child abuse, etc. We, as human beings, do play a plethora of roles in our lives, and we often dive deep into our roles. The essence of each relation, emotion, and role is important. Being an extremely emotional child, I had always given priority to my emotions but failed to express them. Much later in life, I started expressing myself through poems. Each word written in this book has its own essence and importance. I believe to the core that emotions are the essence of one’s existence, and they are best expressed through words. Penning down my feelings through words was difficult, and was an emotional process. The words in this book reflect my hard work. They are an ode to my true feelings and real-life experiences. I hope you will like the poems and relate to them at some point of time.
