The Hummingbird

This is a tale told to an old man in the park by a small bird, of how it saw humans kill and display animals for pleasure. The Humming Bird is a story; an enthralling ride where birds narrate how humans cannot be trusted. “Hummer” the hummingbird sees animal blood being shed, the hand of one endangered animal who he sees yearning for freedom and the image of his free past in his small, dark eyes; the breeds turned to craft for their head, suffering in an orgy of pain; man slaughters animals as they cry to death, bereft of hope.
