The author is very confident, through his long-term self-practice, exploring the answer to the question that what will happen when one is freed from self-bondage? Does the quality of our lives depend upon our state of mindfulness? Does mindfulness ensure a better outcome and a better life?

Meet the Author

Professor Narayan Prasad Paudel, PhD The author did his MBA in 1996 and completed his Ph.D. in finance in 2007. He became a chief executive officer of the Accounting and Auditing Standard Board of Nepal in 2008 and he has worked at Kathmandu University School of Management as an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance. He has worked as a Chairman of Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd. He has worked at the Mid-West University School of Management as a Program Director of BBA, MBA, M Phil and Ph.D. programs. Currently, he is working as a Registrar of the Mid-West University, Nepal. The author has attended numerous National and International Conferences during various periods of time and presented his papers at the respective conferences. He has written and published three books on finance and capital market-related areas and published many articles in the national and international Journals. The author is a self-practitioner of mindfulness meditation and has experienced tremendous insights and wisdom for self-transformation and he is very much confident in his acquired wisdom of peace and happiness. The author has initiated writing this book entitled "Uncommon Wisdom for Common Time" based on his two and half decades of teaching and corporate experiences. He has attempted to explore the answer to the frequently asked uncommon questions for common time.
