Dr. K. R. Jayachandran is an Educational Psychologist & a Special EducationProfessional from India and a resident of Saudi Arabia since 2003. He holds Ph. D, Masters, and B. Ed. Degrees, with three Diplomas from different Indian and Foreign universities. He has specialized in ‘Inclusive Education’ from the University of Melbourne, Australia under the fellowship of Govt. of Australia. He started his career as a Lecturer in Kerala in 1995 and moved to Saudi Arabia as the Head of the Centre for Special Education in the International Indian Public School under the Embassy of India, Riyadh in 2003. He also served as the CBSE Counsellor for Indian Community Schools and supported various International schools in the Kingdom as a Counsellor. He has enriched the field of education as a Resource Person for NCERT, SCERT, Universities, and different organizations in India and abroad. As a well-known speaker, he has presented papers at many international conferences and broadcasted programs on Television and All India Radio. He has also extended his services as a Consultant to different organizations in India and abroad. He is also associated with different philanthropic, Counselling, and training programs.
Since 2012, Dr. Jay is serving the Saudi Public Education Sector. At present, he is the Training & Research Consultant in Prince Sultan Centre, which is an internationally accredited Centre for special education support services under the Saudi Ministry of Education.
His book ‘Know Your Child First’ which was published in September 2020 was widely accepted by the readers in India and the Middle East.
His spouse Mrs. Swapna Sankaran Nair is a Rehabilitation Practitioner in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and they are blessed with son Adithya and daughter Aishwarya.
