Mrs. Mini Sarathchandran, born in 1967 to Mr. N.S. Gopinathan Pillai and Smt. Sarojini was born the eldest daughter of a mother. She completed her education at Nooranadu CBMHS and Pandalam NSS College. Abandoning her desire to become a teacher, she focused on raising children after marriage like the majority of Malayalee women of the time. She is a perfect devotee of Lord Krishna and is accustomed to reciting the Bhagavad Gita. The author is an example of one of the Malayalees who are trying to cope with life without giving up their optimism when their family and it’s members are suffering from diseases and hardships. This book delves into her state of mind when she was scarred by the sudden death of her Father who was looking after her Mother till his last breath.
The deep bond shared by the author and her father is what led to the conception of this book. It is a memoir of a daughter whose entire persona has been deeply influenced by her Father. She aims to live rest of her life immersed in the memories of her Father.
