Professor SreepurnaTupaki believes writing is a sojourn into oneself but realized outside of the self through the individualized yet universal resource of the language.

Thrust into the podium of teaching at an impossible age of twenty years, he has had a long association with young minds. His professional days began in the sylvan environs of Coorg, Karnataka followed by the fresh young town of Manipal before he put down roots in Surathkal, Mangalore. In his forty years of teaching English, his legions of students have helped him ward off prejudices, as has his family, a unit with no hierarchy, where ideas freely flow.

Presently enjoying his retired life, he has been an active writer, under the name of Random Reflector, because this is what he supposes he is as a writer, a natural moving mirror, reflecting both him and others, with a sense of observation and sometimes an ironic vision. His main passions remain to teach and learn on the way.
