Susmita Maitra, professionally a designer, was born and brought up in a Bengali traditional family in West Bengal. After completing her master’s in Kolkata, she moved to Bangalore a few years back to kickstart her career in the multimedia world. The writing was never a choice until she realized that words were the only form she could pour herself out the most peacefully. Poetry came along the way.
Having been a survivor of severe depression, Susmita always wanted to create awareness around mental health and support all those people living through it. She started a personal blog in 2019 as a hobby but dissolved it later on in her choices. This book is a continuation of the same, collected from her journals, a few verses to represent her outlook on life and experiences.
