He is presently working as the State Bureau Chief in Amar Ujala newspaper at Shimla and has been active in Journalism since 2003 with long-term experience as a crime and political reporter. He has written more than one and a half dozen short stories which have been published in various magazines and journals and broadcast from All India Radio Shimla. He has also edited many books.

Besides, he has also worked as a casual announcer in All India Radio Shimla.
