K.V.Rao IRTS

The author, Mr. K V Rao, IRTS (1986 Batch), Ex-Chief Commercial Manager (HAG) Ministry of Railways, Govt of India, served in 11 states in India and abroad. He contributed to the improvement of passenger services on Indian Railways with innovative ideas. He received awards from Hon'ble Minister of Railways and H. E. Governor of West Bengal in 1999 and 2000 for his outstanding contribution to Railways. His other works include - "Safety Management of Indian Railways", "Working of Manned Level Crossings" and "Drops in the Ocean - Observations, Ideas, and Deeds". He along with his teams planted more than a lakh saplings at about 500 stations in a dozen states across the country during his service.
