Meet the Author

RISHIKA KASLIWAL

Born in the summer of 2009 in the beautiful Pink City - Jaipur, Rishika Kasliwal always felt stimulated with a good story. She enjoyed listening to stories as a baby and as she began reading on her own, she would start and end her day with a book. She particularly enjoys fantasy where she dwells with the fairies and little folk in a mystical world. Being an avid reader has cultivated her imagination and enriched her vocabulary which has enabled her to compose a few short stories and poems on her own. In this collection we have attempted to present a few of those, many more being left only in the memory of her younger cousins’ minds, who she mesmerizes with her quick tales. Creativity is what energizes her. She immensely enjoys creating models of people and houses that live in her stories. She loves to bake and ballet is her favourite dance form. She successfully expresses her ideas through drawing and painting as well. She has often conducted shows for family where she would script out a little play and make her cousins practice their part and dialogues, perfecting the final presentation with appropriate costumes and required props. She has written a story “The Adventures of Princess Clara” which was well received by her friends and cousins and is now writing a sequel to it.
