Dr. Shivnarayan J. Acharya is one of the pioneers of Nephrology in central India, whose team did the first kidney transplant in this region in 1990. He is also credited with the first twin pediatric kidney transplant and simultaneous kidney and liver transplants in Central India. Writing is his passion. His first book ‘Kathputaliyan’, a collection of short stories in Hindi, was published in the year 2013. He has also published many articles, both fiction and non-fiction, in many local newspapers and magazines.
