8th century A.D. has been the era of recordings. Many Hindu temples, dedicated mostly to The Sun God, depicts erotic figurines on the walls and surfaces of temples. The architecture of these temples is followed and highlighted in the temple complexes of Khajuraho built in a time gap of 100 years between 950 A.D-1050 A.D by the kings of Chandella dynasty. Khajuraho architecture reflects the tantric cult followed during those times similar to the Vajrayana Buddhism, Jainism, Chandali yoga tantra, Tantraraja tantra etc. The artistic culture of Khajuraho reflects more of the local tribal traditions and lifestyles in contrast to the conventional temple architecture of India. Many authors tried to identify the true motive behind this erotic architecture and ended up explaining it from a philosophical point of view, but the true meaning of this iconography could be otherwise.

“At a snail’s pace, she stepped inside. ‘Dad’ flashed on her phone. She stood like a statue and looked fixedly at her phone until it stopped ringing.” “Around 12:30 p.m., she booked a cab from office to her home. She wasn’t sure how to keep her heart calm in these forty minutes of travel. Her mind made so many plans for the day…” “Her over-amiable, quick-witted and prying nature probably exasperated all of us and especially me. She would cackle over anything. I loathed her and my hate was snowballing visibly. ” “Every day they would greet each other with morning wishes, would call each other once or twice in a week, would share writings, jokes but with time things started fading. Busy life and hesitation entered their bond. ” Dipped in a twinge of silence, this collection of short stories will make you travel through a tunnel of emotions from love and heartbreaks to friendship and bonding. This book has oodles of emotions grappling with relationships, modern-day life choices, patriarchy, societal pressures, platonic bonds, etc.

Birds Like Us is the maiden collection of poems composed by Deepak K Choudhary (Darshak). The collection comprises 90 poems penned at different points of time and on an array of subjects straddling across various contextual terrains of human existence. The poems have been composed employing diverse forms of poetic expression, styles and techniques. While some of the pieces may read almost like Browningian anterior monologues marked by a reflective tone and multiple layers of inwardness, some others may strike you with their conversational and occasionally balladic approach and palpable earthiness of treatment. A few others seem to be rooted in memories and reminiscences floating in the ‘pasts’ defying the deterministic mechanism of ‘calendar-clock precision’. At times, the readers may also notice the presence of some elements and features of metaphysical, existential, surreal and symbolic poetry in practice. Satire rooted in the zeitgeist is a striking aspect in case of some other poems with political undertones. The poet has not divided the collection into segments as he believes that any such attempt will obstruct the process of reading without preconceived notions and presuppositions.

Dear readers, The journey of ‘follow me’ began six years back as a result of my desire to share my experience and views on God in response to His people and to my present life. According to my research and personal reflection, God involves himself in the life of the people in an ordinary manner. I find the stream of inclusiveness throughout the faith journey of the people of God and this is strongly underlined with Jesus choosing his followers rather than letting them come to him. The logic of God often impresses us. It shapes our clear vision of the kingdom of God and the priorities of his messianic ministry. The book focuses on structure, with examples of formal, informal, expository and inductive notes. ‘Follow me’ is intended to be a handbook to preachers and seminarians for the proclamation of the Word of God. At times, some sermons will feature multiple themes related to the readings in order to facilitate the readers to enlarge their scopes.

“Tum Ajnabi Hi Rahti” is a beautiful journey of Love. The journey is without any destination. In fact, love is a perfect journey in itself—it does not have any purpose. The real love teaches us that living together or separating should never have a sense of hatred or infidelity for each other. There should be a feeling of love and respect for each other in the mind, always.

All the poems in this book are based on different aspects of love between an innocent and holy soul. Since the advent of the first meeting to the splitting of hope, the fear of disappointment will be overcome. I felt all this while living in love and dropped it all as a poem on paper. Hopefully, readers will love this book and will feel connected to my poems. I am eagerly waiting for your response.

‘Give a man a fish, you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish and you have fed him for the lifetime.’ Reservation perpetuates the system of caste in the Indian society. Our constitution makers wanted to improve the conditions of the backward sections by creating equality in the society, but the present system of reservation has worked against this goal by segregating these sections from the mainstream. It has also contributed to hatred among people from different castes. It has promoted and strengthened caste-based loyalties instead of patriotism. Therefore, the time demands a change and look-over at the present reservation policy so that the weaker section of society gets the benefit and not the privileged ones. Our aim should be the upliftment of poor and not “Dirty Vote Politics.” This book will help you unleash your inner thoughts and initiate a change. 70 years are 7 times more what framers thought to achieve in 10 years.

The use of plants as source of medicinal agents lies deep in the roots of antiquity. No one will ever know what led primitive man emerging from his ancestral, origin, to select certain plant material for the treatment of various ailments and diseases though it may be assumed that during the long transition from instinctive behaviour to more rational action, there was a conscious realization that certain roots, leaves, bark, fruits and even plant exudations had some beneficial action. This knowledge and the characteristics of the plant material, or even the entire plant itself, would be remembered for future occasions and the information passed on to others by word of mouth. Later, as different civilizations developed, man was able to communicate his knowledge and ideas, first by carving into stones or clay and later by writing on parchment or paper with the result that his knowledge became known to the coming generations. Reverence may be made to the clay writings from the library of the Assyrian king, to the Ebers Papyrus and to the writings of Dioscorides to indicate sources of our knowledge today about the crude drugs by Arabians, Babylonians, Chinese, Egyptians, Greeks, Indians, Persians, Romans and Sumarians thousands of years ago. The oldest treatises dealing with Ayurveda are Susruta samhita and Charaka samhita both compiled between 500-300 B.C. The development of the Ayurvedic system of medicine was based on scientific approach and methodology. Many of the drugs used in the traditional systems have stood the test of time. Most of the MAPs are used in the Indian Systems of Medicines and pharmaceutical and oil industries. About 118 species of MAPs of IHR yield essential oils. The Indigenous knowledge about medicinal plants and therapies was composed verbally and passed orally from generation to generation. Much later, some of this information was systematized in treatise forms like Atharveda, Yajurveda, Charak Samhita, Sushrut Samhita, etc. These systematized systems of knowledge about medicinal plants and therapies are included under Ayurveda – the Indian Traditional Medicine System. We are trying to compare the traditional Himalayan materia medica with that used by Ayurved. With the increasing demand of MAPs in the Indian Systems of Medicines, and pharmaceutical and oil industries, the wild populations of the MAPs are facing high pressures. Keeping above in view, and considering importance of number of herbal pharmaceutical industry using plants of high value for production of the eco -Friendly formation. Among the widely used plants cultivation techniques (Agro- technology) and its uses detail describes for farmers and Enterprisers, Academician and Researchers.
