I am an inward looking, self-contained individual. Over speaking, I prefer to write and express on paper. Mostly these expressions are in form of poems.
One day, looking at the combined set of papers, I realised that with time the poems have developed a persona. They have their personality, they have their thoughts, feelings, almost an existence of their own. But they all live only in my world, with me, almost bound by my nature, my inwardness.
I decided to set them free. Give them an opportunity to express themselves.
Antarmukh is their flight of freedom.
Over age and time, I have written these poems in a variety of states of mind. They don’t have a big purpose, they don’t contain a deep philosophical message. They are simply my emotions, expressions, expectations and experiences.
May be they will connect with you, touch your heart. You may be able to feel them, think about them, agree with them, identify with them. May be you will reflect on them, appreciate them, understand them and even learn from them. If nothing, I just hope that they stay with you for a while, spend some time with you and give you a sense of satisfaction and solace.

There comes a time in the life of every person, when he feels attachment towards someone and if that person likes him as much, then the earth starts to feel like heaven for him. He starts feeling proud over his love as if he has found something valuable. But after a few years, when they face the reality of the world than their senses are blown away. Even after a few months of separation, they are not able to understand what is happening to them. Then they are so broken from inside that there is no difference in gaining or loosing anything for them. But there is also a rule of creation that if something old breaks, then a lot of energy comes out of it and from that energy some creation can be done. Perhaps it was written in my destiny to convert that energy into my writing.

Trying to express the journey via a few couplets
I am very happy to share few words with you about the book. ‘Just Be’ is my first anthology of hundred simple poems written in this lockdown period. These poems were already posted in the WhatsApp group Creative Writers and reviewed by admins Mrs. Brinda, Mr. Kumaran and all other group members. After a sudden accidental demise of my son Ramkumar I felt very depressed in this lockdown time. Not able to go to school and divert myself in teaching. In this period Mrs.Brinda motivated me to join in her WhatsApp group and write. Before that I kept my writings in a small circle with family and friends. Through this group I got recognition for my writing. With the wonderful blessings of God, fine motivation of admins, creative writers’ friends, my school management colleagues, friends and family I am publishing my first anthology ‘Just Be’ and dedicating it to my beloved son. The book consists of hundred poems each written in different topics. forewords were written by our group admins Mrs.
Brinda Srinivas, Mr. Kumaran, my school HM Mrs.Mangayarkkarasi and my friend and guide Mrs.Pankajavalli. My aim is to convey healthy messages to younger generations via my writings.
